Our Second Time Together at Joaquin Miller Park

Joaquin Miller Park

Jeremiah & I visited this park a couple of months ago here, but we decided to visit it again on a much better day when it wasn’t raining.
It had just rained a few days before our visit, so it was a little muddy, but nothing that we thought was too tough to get through. After all, we’ve done a completely muddy hike in Hawaii & stepped in actual pools of water at Uvas Canyon County Park. So, this visit was literally a walk in the park 😅

The main reason I wanted to visit was to test out my new film camera that I had mentioned a while ago here, but I also just needed to go out again & explore. Jeremiah & I haven’t really had an “off” day to ourselves in a while, so it was much needed time to ourselves, even if it was short.

this tree looks like a Demagorgon! (Stranger Things reference 🤗)

Jeremiah & I also got a chance to test out the camera quality on our new phones. Jeremiah recently got the iPhone X & I got the iPhone 8+. I’ll do a separate post later about my experience with the iPhone 8+.

We visited around 11 AM on a Saturday, so it was quite busy even though it may not seem like it in these photos!

Here’s a photo of me taken by Jeremiah on his iPhone X. Edited by me!

It’s definitely a little treasure tucked away in Oakland, CA.

The park is a nice, quick getaway if you want to get a little nature air without having to drive too far out of the Bay Area!
