2 months ago Jer spent 4-5 hours trying to cop these tickets online for the opening day at the Alamo Drafthouse in SF. My brother & his girlfriend went with us as well.
The drafthouse used to be an old theater called “The Mission Theater”. It wasn’t being used for years so Alamo Drafthouse bought it out & spent I think 4 years restoring it. I didn’t take photos of the inside, but the style of the theater remained vintage & had a classic look to it.
We also bought tickets at the Regal Hacienda Crossings theater in IMAX 3-D before we copped the Alamo Drafthouse tickets & instead of selling those (because apparently every theater is sold out this weekend), I gave it to my co-worker as a birthday/Christmas present ^_^ I’d rather have the tickets go to someone who is a big fan & she’s the only one I know who is going to understand what’s going on in the film. I can’t wait to talk to her about the movie.
My best friend’s graduation is today & I have to start getting ready! I’m meeting up with the rest of the girls to carpool because apparently it’s going to be tough trying to look for parking downtown.
Happy Friday everyone! (:
